In this video we go over the things you need to know about the DeWALT flexvolt brushless 16" chainsaw model number DCCS670. You can get it as a tool only item DCCS670 or as a kit with a 6 ah flexvolt battery and charger DCCS670T1 or as a kit with a 9 ah flexvolt battery and charger DCCS670X1. This saw works pretty well as you would expect. It's not a gas powered beast, but more of a battery powered convenience tool. Has all the basic features you would expect any chain saw to have like a self oiling bar and chain, chain tensioning adjustment, chain brake, and safety trigger. Has enough power to do the basic cuts and then some without the worry and maintenance of a gas engine. It still needs bar and chain oil. Make sure you pick some up when you are picking up the saw. The bar is from Oregon and comes with Oregon low kick back chain. This is a tool where you must let the tool do the work. Do not push hard on the saw, as you will end up shutting it off and/or injuring yourself. The tool shares many similarities with the craftsman V60 chainsaw, and you can swap a few parts between the chainsaws. Although it seems like the craftsman is a similar copy of this chainsaw, the DeWALT chainsaw feels a hair faster and little bit more powerful. I strongly recommend you use this tool with the 9 ah flexvolt battery or the 12 ah flexvolt battery as it will provide the tool a bit more power.
