In the video we review the Craftsman V60 Brushless Chainsaw 16 inch. Recently bought for $80 from Lowes. It turns out to be a great chainsaw and a steal for the price. This chainsaw is manufactured by the Stanley Black and Decker Group who recently had acquired the craftsman name back in 2018. It appears to share a lot of similarities to its bigger brother the DeWalt Flexvolt Chainsaw DCCS670.

I've had a good chance to use this chainsaw for a solid few days on pine and have cycled through the battery at least a full 5 times. There was a lot more cutting footage but turned out over half of it was unusable due to the tripod touching the log resulting in shaky video so was not included in this episode.
As mentioned, this is a great chainsaw for anyone. To get a full chainsaw kit with the battery for $80 makes it a great deal. It is better than several of the other cordless chainsaws I've used before, and will be featured in a head to head video shortly. I can definitely recommend this chainsaw to any residential home owner for around the house work, or even commercial guys who end up going to a handful of small residential jobs who just need a small tree trimmed down here and there.
