Are Aldi batteries actually good? In this video we test Aldi Active Energy Super Alkaline AA batteries to see how they perform compared to other popular alkaline batteries like Energizer, Rayovac, Kirkland, Amazon Basics, and AC Delco. Many people assume Aldi products are cheap alternatives, but how do their Active Energy AA batteries perform in real capacity tests? We run controlled discharge tests at 100mA and 200mA to measure real battery capacity, runtime, and overall value. This video is part of an ongoing battery testing series where we benchmark dozens of alkaline batteries to determine which brand offers the best performance per dollar. We tested these batteries using a battery capacity tester and measured mAh capacity, runtime, and value per penny.
